i'm not going to bother talking abt the bombings and how i think these pple who orchestrate it shd be bombed to death. i guess.. sometimes we are driven by circumstances to do desperate things. but it doesn't mean i condone what they do. it's a bit too extreme. that, or they have been mislead into doing such horrendous stuff. but that's not the pt.
my dad was supposed to go to bali for some company family day thingy. not that u can consider this year's a family day. cos the idiot of the company.. this ang moh demanded that they go to bali (purely cos he likes it there) and so most of the workers cannot afford to pay for their families tics. so anyways... there are pple there who have been working under my dad for like a decade plus and whom i've spent considerable amts of time with, growing up in indo (during the hols lah). and i found out from my dad today that they were abt 500m away from where the first bombing occured. can u imagine my shock? to think that they might have been at that very spot? dead. i think some pple are just selfish. just cos they wanna enjoy their time there, they drag others to a dangerous place. i say that because the indo police have already been alerted abt a second wave of bombings but chose to ignore the warnings issued. and i can safely say that the company idiot is indeed aware of this, but upon his insistence, still went ahead with it. fucker.
it's only lucky that my dad was busy with some ship probs, along with a handful of the workshop boys (yes they are referred to as that as well..) and he had to stay back. really... man i'm damm thankful to whatever higher powers there are in the world for him being busy. i shall try to never complain that he's too busy to call me. because of his busy-ness.. it has saved his life. (i wanted to type safed.. and then i realised it was wrong!!! bah!! so much for being a linguist!!)
altho my parents don't read my blog.. i just wanna say.. papa!!! i love u soooo much!! thank goodness u're safe! =)
